Introduction
In 1987, Bill Ramsey led a group of his friends on a week-long bike tour in Vermont. These tours became a yearly tradition.
For the most part, our group is an offshoot of the Southern Bicycle League in Atlanta, GA -- but as time has gone by, we have picked up participants from other areas of the country. Since we venture out of Georgia to go on these tours, it is really just a matter of meeting us there!
Recent tours have been led by Ned Mountain and Pam Wood, but Bill still participates.
It is not clear where we will go or who will lead our 2010 ride, but we should have some idea by March of 2010. Our rides generally occur in the fall, shortly after the kiddies are back in school. Our travel destinations tend to be less crowded and more laid-back during that time of year.
